- Benny (RedBeard) Gross is a collector, patron, and advisor who has spent more than a decade at the center of the digital art field, working closely with artists, collectors, galleries, and institutions. His collection spans more than 65 artists. His institutional commitments include helping to found the Digital Art Committee at the Centre Pompidou, where he serves as a Founding Patron, and sitting on the Digital Art Selection Committee of the Whitney Museum of American Art. He is a patron of the Toledo Museum of Art and has advised The Node Foundation and Nifty Gateway Studio on digital art. He founded Formata to extend this work at scale: funding ambitious productions, placing work in institutions, and cultivating the next generation of patrons.
